Roderick Smith commits to OSU

Harding standout record setting running back, Rod Smith, has given his verbal commitment to Ohio State in the Big Ten.

Rod Smith has won a state title at Harding as a freshman and has broken all of Harding’s rushing records will join his long time friend DeShaun Thomas, the basketball standout at Bishop Luers who gave his verbal commitment to Ohio State as a freshman.

Thomas who has won back-toback state titles in basketball are both heading into high profile senior seasons at their respective high schools where many more records could fall for each player.

Ohio State now has two of the best players to come out of Fort Wayne in many years.
