Zetas to host Nursing Diversity Career Symposium

FORT WAYNE—The Zeta Eta Chapter of Chi Eta Phi Sorority Inc. is scheduled to host a Nursing Diversity Career Symposium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., May 7 at the Grand Wayne convention Center, 120 W. Jefferson Blvd., in the  Harrison Room.

This first Nursing Diversity Career Symposium is designed to bring awareness to potential and aspiring nurses/healthcare workers of color, and provide ongoing coaching and networking opportunities.  The target audiences are middle and high school students in the greater Fort Wayne Metropolitan area, nursing students, nurses and administrators in the healthcare community and anyone with an interest in nursing. The program is scheduled to include two guest speakers, multiple station set-ups with African American nurses in their various specialties, a nursing education and simulation lab and medical and healthcare provider booths.
