McCain gains in polls

(NNPA)-Senator John McCain is closing in on Senator Barack Obama's lead, according to two new national polls.

In the last two weeks, McCain's support among registered voters has jumped from 39 percent to 42 percent, according to a poll released on recently by CBS News and The New York Times.
