"Nora's Hair Salon 2" is a movie that is good for the soul. The movie features a decent group of cast members-some new, but most we all ready know.
Tatyana Ali is the leading lady in this comedy. She plays Lilliana, who is trying to stay devoted to her job while being a good friend to her coworkers, and at the same time hoping to stay in control of her home life. But, that can be hard when you have got an uptight coowner of the salon by the name Simone (Stacey Dash). Simone has selfish plains of her own to sell her half of the shop and, just when you thought things couldn't get any worse, the shop gets broken in to and left a disaster.
After the breakin, Lilliana gets into a catfight with Simone, who for once comes down off her superficial high horse. Lilliana no longer thinks she can make it in the business.
In need of a good conversation and a positive outlook on her day, she runs in to a gentleman with all the right answers. With an little hope restored in her heart, she returns to the shop to find that Simone really has had a change of heart. While Delicious (the gay male stylist played by Donn Swaby), who is intrigued with a man "behind the altar," pulls together everyone else in the shop with love to create a miracle for an uplifting climax.
This laugh out loud movie was writhen and directed by Jill Maxy. If you asking for my opinion and you are, "Nora' s Hair Salon 2" is all about respect, loyalty, friendship and understanding. This is a great movie to watch with the family.
