Tina Louise Matthews was born Jan. 17, 1959 in Murphysboro, Ill., to Glenda Rankin (Passmore) and Eugene Locke, and departed this life June 22, 2013. Tina completed her formative years of school in Murphysboro. Upon leaving Illinois, Tina made Fort Wayne, Ind., her new home. She enjoyed reading as well as playing computer games. Tina had a passion for cooking, painting and gardening. She was also a dedicated and loyal hard worker with a strong work ethic. She loved to restore houses and was a perfectionist.

Fort Wayne lost one of its most respected community figures recently when Suffragan Bishop Hobart L. Gregg made his transition from this life on May 28. Born Oct. 14, 1932, in Connersville, Ind., he was the son of the late Hobart M. Gregg and Laura B. Gregg. Pastor Gregg was a Suffragan Bishop with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World and was founder and pastor of the Kings Chapel Assembly until retiring in 2010.
Superintendent John Darnell Hall, former pastor of Grace Temple COGIC in Fort Wayne, made his transition May 22 in Kokomo at the age of 85. Born May 29, 1927 in East Chicago, Ind., the fifth of 12 children born to Elder Lewis and Mother Betty Hall, he moved with his family to Kokomo in 1942.
