What’s up, babies?

As always, I hope all is well with you and yours and that, you’re still taking time out of your busy days to bring yourselves some well deserved joy, beauty, happiness and some form of peace of mind. And, I repeat this because I don’t want you to forget it.  On that note, it pleases me to bring to you this week’s spotlight because she’s on fire, in the name of GOD’s love.  So just sit back, relax and feel what this conference is all about:

“Hello, Frost Illustrated readers.  My name is Carolyn Sherrill and I’m the pastor of Isaiah 61 Ministries that’s located at 2135 S. Hanna St., inside the Urban League building. I’d like for you to join us on Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 at Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Conference Center at 4000 Parnell Ave., in Fort Wayne.  We’re having a Fresh Fire-Fresh Oil Conference and it’s called that because Fire represents the Holy Spirit  and Oil represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  The doors will open at 9 a.m. and we’ll begin the conference at 9:30 a.m.  We’re going to have praise and worship, then we’ll begin the workshops and afterward we’ll have lunch.  After that, we’ll have two additional workshops facilitated by local Pastors Joan Jones, Margie Eldridge, Mary Wray and myself.

“After lunch, we’re going to have a Break-Through Prayer Session.  That’s for individuals who want prayer, who want to receive the Holy Spirit in their lives and receive that refreshing and the stirring up of any gifts that God has poured into their lives, that’s been lying dormant.  We’re basically empowering them to go out and minister to their loved ones and the people they work with because I believe, this is the end times and this session will end about 3:30 p.m.

“We’ll take a break and come back in the evening. The doors will open at  5p.m., and the banquet will start at 5:30 p.m.  During the banquet, we’ll praise and celebrate what happened in the morning session and we’re going to have singers Flora Bennett-Jackson, Ka’rin Eldridge, Bernice Bush, Paulette Eldridge and Clarence Eldridge Jr., and the guest speaker will be Bishop Clarence Eldridge Sr., of Christ Church of Faith.

“What inspired this event is, a month ago I woke up at 6 a.m., and I heard in my spirit this event must happen because it’s a clarion-call.  I heard the word before but I got up, went to my computer and looked up what clarion call means and it read, it’s a clear, urgent request for action.  So this is something that the Lord put in my spirit and on my heart to draw us together and teach empowerment and inspire His people.  Because I know that we’re in the last days and I believe that He’s calling us together to remind us that love Him, to grow in Him.

“Sometimes when you first come to Christ, you have that fire and excitement and your illuminated in your spirit and you know, you had an encounter with God.  So you run out and tell people about what happened to you at that moment you received Him and you have that good feeling.  But when trials come into your life and you’re facing hurting situations whether it be divorce, the loss of a job or problems in relationships, the fire and spirit somewhat dies and you don’t go out telling people about Jesus love.  And that, He’s coming soon and to prepare your heart because of the burdens you’re facing in life.  The Lord is gathering His people for a time to learn, be empowered, revived and released to walk in spiritual freedom, to operate in your spiritual gifts and calling and anointed to reach the End Harvest with love and by the power of the Holy Spirit.  So that’s why I believe He called me to have this conference to re-stir the spirit and re-stir the fire in individual lives, so they can go out and reach other people.

“Putting this event together makes me feel like I’m seriously doing God’s will and I’m basing this on Acts 2: 17 and Acts 1:8 and everyone who is a part of this conference are on fire and very excited about it, this conference is for everyone 18 years old and up.  The entire cost is only $37.50 so please register online at and come Learn, Be Inspired, Empowered, Set on Fire and Anointed to reach the End-Time Harvest.  Send money orders to Isaiah 61 Ministries P.O. Box 13376 Fort Wayne, In 46868-3376 deadline date September 20, 2017.”

Now in closing I say, fantastic job, Pastor Carolyn!  I’m so proud of you and I know GOD and Jesus are too.  So until next time, you’ve been Up Close with Jeanie.  Bye bye. babies.

P.S.  If you’d like The Spotlight shined upon you or someone you know, in the name of love, send me an email to  I’d love to hear from you.
