Panic, God is in control

The city located on God’s holy hill is the envy of the world, that is, New Jerusalem. The gleam from its glory cannot be hid as the light from the exalted city looms over the entire world.  The people of that city inhabit the praise of God because they have met his approval according to his standard.  These are the people who have been redeemed and extracted from the ways of Satan, the transgressor; he has sinned and is short of the glory of God.

Of course this has reference to the holy city in the future.  Prior to Jesus’ death, he stated, “Upon this rock I build my church and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” He admonished his disciples, “You are the light of the world.  A city set upon a hill cannot be hid.”  Though this governor, our savior was killed by brutes, Jesus’ life was returned to him after three days.  Presently, his witnesses live by the spirit that was in him when he was here on earth.  For a moment in eternity, Jesus’ Father shares his throne with his son.  Eventually, he will give him King David’s throne where Jesus will rule the world.  The customs and culture of Jesus’ church is violently attacked by his haters who envy the deeds of the righteous.  Many generations later, the spirit of those brutes persists today.  They devise alternate ways that will culminate in their death.

The avarice of those who are envious is like the bottomless pit.  They want to sit at the controls of the machine they have never been taught to operate.  The spirit that urges them on is implacable.  They are a disease that burns as a furious fire driven by a strong wind.  They are transparent with their words and deeds.  The pit of ignorance has engulfed them so that their knowledge is darkened; they have no understanding.

Advocates of the spirit of envy are violent; they capture the innocent by force.  Yet the righteous among the innocent maintain the standard of God’s good will toward men, and the envious can never prevail against God’s purpose for his creation.  Confusion, wars, and rumors of wars are provoked.  The hatred embedded in the hearts of those of evil intent is like the sea, whose boundaries are set by God, the creator of all things. They cannot go beyond, they are limited.

From where are wars conceived?  Wars are conceived from the hearts of the covetous who lust for the possessions of others; they are not content with what they have.  They become imposters who refuse to stay in their own (lane).  They are trespassers who claim to be who they are not, and to persuade masses of people to follow their pernicious concepts.  “Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from (their) evil.”

Generations of rebel rousers have risen from Cain’s day until now.  They are green bay trees soon to be cut down, and chaff that will be driven away by the wind.  Their words and deeds are traps that will snare them and bring them to a sudden end, and the meek shall inherit the Lord’s earth.

Gog and Magog will not be fought in vain.  When the nations of the earth surround the mountain where the holy city and saints will be, all who war against the Lord and his Anointed, their inwards will melt, and they will turn on their fellow troopers and slay one another.

This is the way it is wherever wars have been fought on earth.  Soldiers and civilians die; Families are severed from loved ones at the will of those who perpetuate war.  But the Lord of glory remains, the incumbent who reigns forever.

So, in spite of this momentary mischief, “Fear not little flock, it is my Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom”.  Leaders of this world trust their riches, technological skills, and their weapons, but we trust the Lord who is strong and mighty in battle; he is the Lord of Hosts and of glory.  Therefore, “fear not.

Our country is no exception to the world’s order.  What was, is, and will be, will persist until the Lord of the earth sweeps all who promote ill will clean from his Father’s earth.  Arrogance, avarice, hatred, violence and crime are not the solution that makes “America great.”  Greatness is seen when we worship the creator of all things, esteem the God given worth in our fellow man, labor until the common good flows from heart to heart, and rid the mind of selfish intent to declare dominion over what doesn’t belong to us.  The earth is the Lord’s and all of its pertinence.  Remember, the nations that ignore God’s order and his purpose will be turned into hell.  The wrath of man will never work the righteousness of God.  Regardless to existing conditions, God is in control. Therefore, we need not panic.  Jesus’ advice is that we watch and pray so we are not overtaken by those who do not value the freedom that is afforded to Americans.  Our request is the same as King Hezekiah; allow us to have peace and safety in our day.
