East Chestnut Street Church of Christ accepting items for disaster victims

FORT WAYNE—East Chestnut Street Church of Christ is accepting donations, such as household cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items, for the victims who are affected by the hurricanes, wildfires, and other disasters that have been occurring across the United States.

Items needed include:

• Household cleaner;

• Water;

• Bleach wipes;

• Toothpaste and toothbrushes;

• Soap;

• Paper products;

• Hand sanitizer;

• Diapers and wipes;

• Detergent;

• Tampons and sanitary napkins;

• Blankets;

• Combs;

• Sleeping bags;

• Brushes;

• Pillows and sheets;

• Lotion;

• Plastic gloves, and

• Vaseline.

Donations will be accepted at the church parking lot, 3601 E. Chestnut St., Mondays through Fridays from 10 a.m. through 12:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
