FORT WAYNE—The Sims Baskerville Bates Barnes Whitt family reunion gathers every two years. This year it was held in Fort Wayne.  We had family travel to the reunion this year from as far as New York and California.

At this reunion, we had more than 200 attend; we had an old fashion picnic with a DJ on Friday, July 17 with burgers, hotdogs, wings and lots of sides.  We also had a candy and popcorn bar for all to enjoy.  We danced, played, hugged and had a good time.

On Saturday, July 18, we went to the museum in the morning and had a banquet in the evening at the Parkview Field Lincoln Financial banquet room where we honored our eldest family members and had a memory wall.  Ty Causey entertained our family with his great music.

To cap off the evening, the family enjoyed the Three Rivers Festival fireworks.
