| November 13, 2015

FORT WAYNE—At approximately 12:27 a.m., Nov. 11, City of Fort Wayne Police officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle parked in the alley in the 300 block of Kinnaird Avenue. Officers arrived and located an unconscious adult male in the driver’s seat. Medics arrived and pronounced the man, subsequently identified as 18-year-old Jose Gavino Razo-Rodriguez deceased.
Preliminary information is that a neighbor noticed the vehicle parked in the alley, and after not seeing the vehicle move for a short while, the neighbor called to report the vehicle as being suspicious.

The Allen County Coroner’s Office determined that Razo-Rodriquez had been shot, although there were no calls to police reporting gunshots, disturbances or anything else just prior to finding the victim.
Crime Scene technicians processed the scene and collected evidence.

Detectives are searching for and speaking with anyone who may have witnessed anything. Anyone who may have any information at all is asked to contact police.

This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and the Allen County Coroner’s office.
