Whatz up babies?
I hope that all is well with you and yours as always. And, I also hope that you’re still taking time out of your days to bring yourselves, as well as, others some well deserved peace of mind, love, joy, happiness and beauty. As we travel on our journey of love to get to know one another better. On that note, I want to share with you the beauty and joy that we all felt this past Saturday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the American Legion Post 148 as we all came together, in the name of love, to help benefit Frost Illustrated, and it felt so gooooood.
So at this time, I’m going thank everyone once again for a job well done including:
• Commander Jesse Booker, Steve Lanier, Benny and Sheryl Edwards and Gwen Brown of the American Legion Post 148;
• Our entertainment of the evening which included R&B, pop and soul vocalist, Fatima Washington and R&B/funk & soul gospel vocalist John Weaver, comedians Marlin Hills and Mufasa, poets Alle Wims and Victor Brown, the Todd Harrold Band with special guest Michael Patterson and D.J.’s Landis and George.
And here’s a special shout out to Sheila Curry-Campbell.
I also thank you, all of you, that were there to help with the cause by your donations and your time and it was so wonderful to see all of your beautiful smiling faces.
Now, it pleases me to bring to you some of the people who were there having a wonderful time at this event. And, to the ones that were there and had your pictures taken, I’m sure you’ll enjoy looking at them.
And again, Frost Illustrated thanks you.
So until next week, you’ve been Up Close with Jeanie. Bye, bye babies.
P.S. If you would like The Spotlight shined upon you or someone that you know, all in the name of love, just send me an e-mail to upclosewithjeanie@yahoo. com. I’d love to hear from ya.
P.P.S. I’d like to thank all of you who have been sending me e-mails to give me some feedback on our journey. Keep up the good work and to those who haven’t, please feel free to do so because I’d love to hear from you too.
