Demarco LeAndre Adams, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014. He was born Oct. 23, 1986. Funeral service was Tuesday, May 20 at Renaissance Baptist Church, with burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Arrangements were by Carmichael Funeral Service.

Mae Francies (Spikner) McGrady

Mae Francies (Spikner) McGrady, 93, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2014, after an extended illness. Born June 12, 1920, in Troy, Ala., she was a daughter of Alex and Francis Spikner. Upon moving to Anderson, she united with Wallace Temple AME Zion Church where she served on the Steward Board and Mission. She is survived by her daughter, Willie Mae McGrady of Anderson, Ind.; grandsons, Richard Hooten of Houston,Texas, Ronald (Debra) Mcgrady of Anderson, Ind. and Kendrick McGrady of Fort Wayne; great-grandsons, Jermaine (Kimere) Smith of Las Vegas and Rashard Smith of Indiana; 15 great-grandchildren; 13 great- great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. Service was Monday, May 19, 2014, at L.C. May Funeral Services, Anderson, Ind., with the Rev. L.D. Clay Jr. officiating and burial will follow service in Maplewood Cemetery.

Staff Sergeant Kamien Stanford, 28, of Ansbach, Germany, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014. He is survived by his mother, Lynn Stanford; father, Eddie Tarver; sisters, Nedra Stanford, Keyion Stanford, Toneen Barnette, and Tiwanna Barnette-Bird; and brothers, Jason Tarver and Corey Wilson. He was preceded in death by one brother, Leo Stanford. Funeral service was. Friday, May 23, 2014, at Evans & Browne’s Funeral Home, 441 N. Jefferson Ave., Saginaw, Mich.
