Twana Lee Easley, 50, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014. She was born on June 30, 1963, in Fort Wayne. Surviving are her brothers, David (Elissa) Easley Jr. and James Easley; sisters, Teri Easley, Tami (Kyle) Lawrence; and Jackie Cheri; grandmother, Savannah Hicks; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services were Monday, Jan. 20 at Carmichael Funeral Service. Arrangements were by Carmichael Funeral Service.


Lisa Mattie Maria Kyles, 47, went home to rest on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sons, Charles Kyles, Bobby Kyles, Brandon Kyles, Bryson (Ashley) Kyles, RaShanna Kyles, and SaPrina Kyles; sister, Katrina PhD (Courtney) Pace; and brothers, Leon (Karisha) Kyles Jr. and Alfred Kyles. Memorial services were Wednesday, Jan. 22, 2014, in the Destiny Dome Embassy at Cathedral of Praise International, 3501 Harris Road. Arrangements were by Nelson Memorial Gardens Inc.


Charles Roland Sr., 69, of Fort Wayne, departed this life on Friday, Jan. 17, 2014. He was born on June 27, 1944, in Fairfield, Ala. Surviving are his sons, Charles (Marcy) Roland Jr. and Carrington Roland; daughters, Neco (James Jr.) Beasley and Katrise (Shelton Sr.) Hawkins; brothers, Sam (Sallie) Roland Jr. and Clay Martin; sister, Johnnie Mae Woods. Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 25 at Cathedral of Praise, with burial in Concordia Cemetery. Arrangements were by Carmichael Funeral Service.


David S. Smith, 73, passed away on Monday, Jan. 13, 2014, at Parkview Hospital North. Surviving are his son, Bernard Ricketts; and sister, Thelma Smith. Roosevelt Wall, 66, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at home. Born in Indinola, Miss., he graduated from Gentry High School of Indinola. Roosevelt is a retired Staff Sgt. with the U.S. Air Force. After retirement, he worked at the Fort Wayne Developmental Center in the dietary department. He was a member of Masonic Lodge 30, Scottish Rite 66 and Mizpah Shrine 50. Surviving are his wife, Kum OK Wall of Fort Wayne; and brother, Will (Sheria) Redmond Sr. of Memphis, Tenn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Emma Wall. Services were Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with a Masonic service at the funeral home and burial in Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
