James. W. “Bear Grease” Hollins

James W. “Bear Grease” Hollins, 87, departed this life on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at Parkview Hospital in Kendallville. “Bear,” as he was known to some was born December 18, 1926 in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, the son of the late Robert Avage-Hollins and Annie B. (Miller) Hollins. He retired from Norfolk & Southern Railroad after 30 years of service. Surviving are his two brothers, Louis (Gladys) Hollins and Walter Hollins both of Fort Wayne and caregivers, Mary Clifton and Dian Hollins.  Visitation was Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Ellis Funeral Home, 1021 E. Lewis St. There was no service. Arrangements were by Ellis Funeral Home.

Rickey D. Link, died on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. He was born on Oct. 14, 1959. Funeral service is 1 p.m. Saturday at Kingdom Door Christian Center, with burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Arrangements were by Carmichael Funeral Service.

Eula Young, 94, passed away on Friday, April 4, 2014, at Signature Healthcare. Surviving are her son, Clifton Knox; and grandson. Service was April 10, 2014, at Ellis Funeral Home, 1021 E. Lewis St., with no calling and burial in Lindenwood Cemetery. Arrangements were by Ellis Funeral Home.
