New Jersey cops identify boy, 13, killed by bullmastiff in Paterson

Kenneth Clodo Santilla was mauled by the giant dog, Trigger, on Friday. The boy’s friend was also attacked along with beast’s owner, Paul Clarke. Paterson detectives plan to review the case with prosecutors and decided whether Clarke will face charges.

Paul Clarke of Paterson, N.J., had to stab his bullmastiff Trigger after the massive animal killed a 13-year-old boy and turned on him.

New Jersey cops have identified a 13-year-old boy mauled to death by bullmastiff.

Kenneth Clodo Santilla was walking with another 13-year-old on Friday afternoon in Paterson when he was viciously attacked by the 115-pound dog, officials said.

The canine, named Trigger, chased down Kenneth after biting his friend on the hand, police said. The dog also attacked its owner, 50-year-old Paul Clarke, who was forced to stab the beast repeatedly to get away.
