Metro set to kick off football season

metro_top_pageFORT WAYNE—Metro Youth Sports is scheduled to celebrate “40 Years of Greatness,” kicking off the football season on Aug. 1. All children from seven  through 12 years of age may sign up at the sites listed below, between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. The program fee is $80 for each child who participates.

Medical exams will be provided for the children participating in the football program on Aug. 2, at Weisser Park Recreation Center, 802 Eckart St. This Chi Eta Phi Nursing Sorority and the African American Health Care Alliance will provide the physicals.
