Man sought in alleged crossbow theft: Police seek tips on identity of man in photo

FORT WAYNE—Police officers are seeking information regarding the identity of a man allegedly involved in a theft at a local pawn shop.

According to the complaining party,  at approximately 5 p.m., Feb. 21, a male white, approximately 5’10”, wearing Carhart Camo/pants, appearing to be in his early 30s, came into Cash America Pawn, 944 N. Coliseum Blvd. The suspect picked up the crossbow and waited in line as if he were going to pay for the item. After about 10 minutes, he reportedly walked out of the store.

Police officials released the photo below from that date and time in hopes of identifying the man in the stocking cap and locating him.

Police are asking anyone with information regarding the incident or the identity of the man in the photo to call Crime Stoppers at (260) 436-STOP (7867).
