Local trip to see ‘Motown the Musical’ set for June

FORT WAYNE—A local group of entertainment and travel lovers is sponsoring a trip to see one of theatre’s most acclaimed shows.

Pallas Fullmore and friends are scheduled to lead a charter bus tour to attend a matinee performance of Motown the Musical, at 2 p.m., June 28 at the Oriental Theatre, 24 W. Randolph St., Chicago.

The bus is scheduled to leave Fort Wayne on June 27 and return June 28, following the New York performance of the original Broadway musical.

The total cost for the theatre ticket and bus seat is $160. Hotel accommodations have been made at the South Loop Hotel, which is within walking distance from the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, Navy Pier and a main Chicago shopping district. King or double occupancy rooms are $158, including tax. Rooms are being held under the name Fulmore. To make reservations, call (312) 225-7000. Room occupants are responsible for making their own reservations.

A non refundable trip reservation of $80 is due by March 15; and the balance of payment is due by May 15.
