FORT WAYNE—The Fort Wayne Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity recognized the academic achievement of four outstanding young men whom were students attending and graduating from the Fort Wayne Community School System.  The Fraternity has awarded those four young men with scholarships of a combine total of $2000 dollars to assist them as they prepare for a new beginning of their academic career in college.

The four recipients are:

● Jesus Mitchell, 2014 graduating class of Wayne High School who will be attending the University of Indiana-Purdue Fort Wayne (IPFW);

● Mitchell Boney, 2014 graduating class of Snider High School who will be attending the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne;

● Contrille Booker, 2014 graduating class of Northrop High School who will be attending Indiana University in Bloomington, and

● Juwuan Stewart, 2014 graduating class of Snider High School who will be attending Indian Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne.

Through the efforts of fundraising events and the people who have energetically supported the “Kappas,” this allows the Fort Wayne Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity to provide the scholarship funds for the students.  The Fort Wayne Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity extends a thank you to all of our supporters and to the Fort Wayne Community Schools for the use of South Side High School to host the scholarship awards program.
