Fort Wayne Housing Authority to open voucher waiting list March 12–14, 2014

The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Wayne (FWHA) is pleased to announce the opening of the waiting list for the Housing Choice Voucher Program, previously known as Section 8.

Waiting List. FWHA will accept applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Waiting List from March 12, 2014 at 9 a.m. until March 14, 2014 at 4 p.m.

Applications will be accepted on-line from the housing authority website at

Applications will also be available to print from our website at or picked up from the following FWHA locations on March 12 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., March 13 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and March 14 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.:

  • 7315 Hanna Street (corner of Hanna and Tillman) Assistance available to those who need it at this location only.
  • 2025 South Anthony Blvd.

Only one application per household will be accepted.

For those applicants who choose not to submit an on-line application, the paper application must be post marked by March 14, 2014 and mailed to:
