FORT WAYNE—Each year, the Fort Wayne Urban League is audited by the National Urban League to determine whether the Fort Wayne branch is in compliance with rules set forth by the National Foreclosure Mitigation Counseling Program—a federal agency that addresses the nationwide foreclosure crisis by dramatically increasing the availability of housing counseling for families at risk of foreclosure.

In March, the Fort Wayne Urban League was the only Urban League affiliate nationwide that earned a no findings rating (or no errors in audited documents).
