FORT WAYNE—Members of the newly formed Women Ministerial Alliance of Fort Wayne shared the group’s mission statement with the community after a recent meeting at Renaissance Baptist Church. Alliance officials said the group’s mission is “to help educate and assist in building safer communities. Additionally, they issued a statement explaining that, “The Women Ministerial Alliance of Fort Wayne was organized for the purpose of providing holistic (the whole person) therapeutic strategies to heal the community by addressing the needs, issues and concerns of the people. The group consists of local women pastors, evangelists and other church women church leaders. An installation service for the group is scheduled for 7 p.m., Nov. 15 Renaissance Baptist Church 5515 S. Hanna St. the Rev. David Wright Esq., president of the Black Ministerial Alliance of Greater Boston Inc., is scheduled to attend the installation. Minister Janet Culver, co-pastor of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church of Gary, is the scheduled guest speaker.
