Tree of Life to host Youth Day; Vacation Bible School starts June 25

FORT WAYNE—Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church, 520 E. Washington Blvd., is scheduled to host a Youth Day celebration for children ages 10 through 18 at 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., June 29. The theme of celebration is “Young People Using Prayer As Their main Weapon & Tool to Communicate to God.”

The celebration is scheduled to include conventional games, video games, a splash pad, talent showcase, poetry, readings, singing and rapping, dancing and more.


Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church and Blossoms of Life Child Care Ministries No. 2 are scheduled to conduct a Vacation Bible School at the church from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., June 25, June 26 and June 27, for children ages two through 18.

In addition to fun, informative Bible study, a different refreshment and food—including hamburgers, hotdogs, pizza, Raman noodles, potato chips and beverages—will be served each night. Children who attend all three nights will receive special certificates of recognition.

Parents who bring their children are invited to stay for adult Bible class.

Parents also are asked to report how many children they intend to bring to VBS so that church officials can plan meals and materials.
