The Phil offers four free Foellinger concerts

FORT WAYNE—The school year might be done, but the Fort Wayne Philharmonic is just getting warmed up. The Phil’s 2013 Summer Season brings a wide variety of music to the Foellinger Theatre for four great concerts, and thanks to a generous donor, every concert will be free to the public. They include:

Patriotic Pops kicks off The Phil’s Summer Series on June 23. This Fort Wayne tradition begins the area’s Independence Day celebrations with a line-up of patriotic songs that celebrate everything that’s great about our country, including Yankee Doodle, the 1812 Overture, and a tribute to the veterans of our Armed Services.

All concerts will be held at the Foellinger Theatre in Franke Park and begin at 7:30 p.m. Although Summer Series concerts are free to the public, a general admission ticket is required for entry and concerts are expected to sell out. Special VIP packages are also available for $20, which includes prime general admission seating to all four Summer Series concerts.
