FORT WAYNE—At approximately 1:25 p.m., Oct. 20, Fort Wayne Police responded to the 700 block of E. Coliseum Boulevard on the reported motor vehicle accident involving a passenger car and a motorcycle.

Once on scene, officers found a male adult down in the entrance of the Northcrest Shopping Center suffering from multiple traumatic injuries. The injured man was transported from the scene to a local hospital where he was found to be in critical condition.

The female driver of the passenger car and her male passenger refused medical treatment at the scene.

Preliminary findings have determined that the motorcyclist was westbound on Coliseum when the passenger car made a left turn driving directly into the path of the motorcyclist. Investigators do not believe drugs or alcohol are a factor in this incident.

This incident remains under investigation by the Fort Wayne Police Department, and the Allen County Prosecutors office.
