H.O.P.E. for Animals to offer low cost spay and neuter for puppies and kittens during June

| May 30, 2013

FORT WAYNE—Did you know puppies and kittens can become pregnant as early as 4 months? To help reduce the number of accidental litters, H.O.P.E. for Animals is offering a “Did You Know” promotion sponsored by PetSmart Charities®. During the entire month of June, H.O.P.E. for Animals will spay and neuter puppies and kittens under 6 months of age for just $20.

Spaying and neutering is one of the most effective ways to reduce the homeless pet population. Many people still think you have to wait until a pet is six months old before you can sterilize, but the American Veterinary Medical Association supports sterilizing pets as young as eight-weeks old.

This special rate is even less than the organization’s normal low-cost price and is available to anyone. This special rate cannot be used by shelters or rescues, only private owners. Pet parents who wish to take advantage of this offer must mention the “Did You Know” promotion when they schedule their appointment. The promotion has a limited number of spots available. Please visit www.hope-for-animals.org or call (260) 420-7729 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

H.O.P.E. for Animals is a 501c(3) non-profit organization dedicated to ending the unnecessary euthanasia of companion animals through low-cost spay/neuter and wellness, education, and rescue. H.O.P.E. is a high-quality, high-volume clinic that has completed 22,000 surgeries since opening in June of 2010.
