Good Friday service to feature ‘Women At The Cross’

FORT WAYNE—New Beginnings Church & the Associated Church of Allen County is scheduled to present Women At The Cross Good Friday Service at 12 noon, March 29 at Greater Mt. Ararat Baptist Church, 2111 Edsall Ave.

Scheduled guest speakers include Pastor Glenda Griffin, co-pastor of Changing Lives Outreach Ministries of Fort Wayne, Joy Elliott, guest worship leader from Louisville, Ky., and Evangelist Sylvarena Bolton Funderburke, co-founder and co-pastor of Repairers of the Breach Christian Center of Kansas City, Kan.

Organizers also are scheduled to honor a number of ‘Women At The Cross’ in various fields. They are:

Women of Education: Tammy Hatch of Angel Daycare and Denita Washington of Fort Wayne Girls Rock.

Women of Business: Toni Irby of Designs by Toni.

Women of the Church: First Lady Sandy Payton of Come As You Are Community Church.
