Free meals offered through Summer Food Service Program

FORT WAYNE—The Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church/EMBC Community Outreach announced plans to participate in the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). Free meals will be made available to all children 18 years of age and under and to persons over 18 years who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled. Free meals will be provided to all children without charge and are the same for all children. There will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service.

In accordance with Federal Law and U.S. Department of Agriculture policy, this institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, age, or disability.

• Twin Oaks Apts, 2754 E. Paulding Road

• Chapel Oaks Apts., 850 Buchanan Street

• Tamara Gardens Apts, 6825 John Street

• Prestwick Square Apts, 502 Prestwick Square Drive

Free meals will be provided beginning June 10 and ending July 26 at Foster Park, 3900 Old Mill Road.

Free meals will be provided beginning June 17 and ending Aug. 3 at Fort Wayne Urban League, 2135 Hanna St.

Free meals will be provided beginning July 15 and ending July 20 at South Park Baptist Church, 817 East Paulding Road.

Free meals will be provided beginning Aug. 5 and ending Aug. 16 at  the following Fort Wayne Parks:

Weisser Park, 3000 S. Hanna St.

McMillen Park, 3900 Hessen Cassel

McCormick Park, 2300 Raymond & Holly

Kettler Park, 5400 Buell Dr.
