FORT WAYNE—Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc., Eta Upsilon Zeta Chapter will celebrate the accomplishments of the a devout Christian, community service worker, entrepreneurial Fort Wayne hat maker and seamstress, 2013 Woman of the Year, Mrs. Lillie Caldwell at the 39th Annual Finer Womanhood/Scholarship Luncheon, at 2 p.m., May 19 at The Guesthouse, 1313 West Washington Center Road.
The celebration also is scheduled to include the presentation of scholarships and/or book stipends to deserving graduating high school scholars.
Ticket donation is $35. All proceeds go to the organization’s scholarship fund. There will a meal, hat fashions show, scholarship awards and silent auction. To participate in the celebration and honor Mrs. Caldwell, all attendees are asked to wear hats.
