‘Cinna,’ Nickholas Michell at Acoustic SpokenWord Café: Mar. 9

FORT WAYNE—The Acoustic SpokenWord Café is scheduled to feature poet and author Tinea L. Beaugard aka “Cinna” and recording and performing artist Nickholas Michell 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., March 9 at the Three Rivers Institute of Afrikan Arts & Culture (TRIAAC), 501 E. Brackendridge St.

‘Cinna,’ a native of Michigan has been writing for years. Her first book, “Simple Pleasures, poems of life, love, and lessons learned,” is scheduled to be published soon. A student at Ivy Tech, she is set to graduate this summer with a degree in business administration and will return to her first love, culinary arts.

Michell, a member of the Warner Brothers and Sony recording artists Prophets of Rage, he has written lyrics with a number of bands including Mysterioso, Hyperactiver Zombies, The Ones, Land Pirates, Petrified and the Vagabonds.
